I will test out the waves C4 thanks for sharing. Also I suppose you could use a parametric EQ on each channel, although the multipressor is alot "easier" to set up, only reason I say this is because I read the other day about an EQ plug with an incredibly steep slope settings, forgot the name though :/

edit: its called RubberFilter. Not sure if this will help the problem though.
