Keep the android and go for some hardware or controller or something.

If you think about it, Androids are basically the same thing as iPhones and here's why:
Android = Linux = Unix
iPhone = Mac OS X = Unix
in effect, setting iPhones and Androids equal...except for the iPhone having the typical Apple lockdown preventing any sort of user customization.

trust me mang, once you DO get a new phone. get an iphone 4 - or a 4s if siri and double processing power is worth another $200.

the iphone screen is DRAMATICALLY than any other android phone, the retina display also makes it one of the brightest and clearest displays you can get on a phone, annddd the touch screen and its sensitivity/calibration is so much easier to use. combine that with the fact that it performs the same tasks with half the button presses - and i couldn't care less what any other phone can do.

the screen and how easy/quick it is to use is the reason everyone has one. not because of idiotic apple fanboy fucktards.

my friends (like 20 different people, at least) "DuDE this DROID izzz teh shittss, it can _____ and ____ and _______ - i'm glad i got this instead of an iphone."

valid points. I am a fan of customization, however, and I'm sure that soon Androids will be rolling out with higher-end displays than iPhone. I'm also a fan of solid buttons combined with touch-sensitive display. As far as ease of use? I hate ease of use. When everything is made simple for me and I don't have to do any work to get what I want that is boring to me.

My suggestion still stands, though.

ease of use is nice when I can get directions or a phone number and call it all during the time at a red light. I have my custom desktop pc when I want customization. but to each his own - wasn't trying to come down on your personal taste.

I jailbroke mine, and I can pretty much do what I want with it now. It's practically running an android system

Would be better if Apple lifted its lockdown on the OS. Jailbreaking seems less stable and I've had run into many OS-related problems with Jailbreaking. Meh, I don't really want to argue any longer.

@jrisreal - Okay, I'll stop the debate...but just saying when I jailbroke it, mine was still pretty stable and I could do things like play flash files on the browser, etc

Ive noticed your setup is missing something fairly crucial. Sound insulation! Get you room fixed up first I say

im still rocking a pre-smart phone touch screen. Before apps existed.

think about it thisway, youll have more fun with a new plug in. and you can just wait a little while for the iphone 5

Save the money for the iphone 5 or as a cushion. On the other hand, you could buy a plug-in. I have the 4s and it has a high quality camera and video recording (reason I bought one), but personally I would not buy the 4s now.
