What software do you guys use to record your screens and how would you go about streaming it live?

Xsplit is more customizable and you can stream on Ustream/justin.tv/twitch.tv etc. all at the same time. You can change the quality/add a webcam box to wherever you like/show only a certain part of your screen.

I wouldn't mind. Im no where near as good as some the vets here but if any beginners or lightly experienced producers want to see then Im up for it.

I`ll see if I can record a video or 2 of a 48 hr comp or something soon.

I'll probably stream again tomorrow when I finish up my 48hr tune. having the stream up forced me to put some stuff together rather than scrapping projects so i'll definitely have to do it again haha

This thread is making me wanna get a ustream set up asap. I'll try to get one set up and should be streaming before today is over. =]

I might not be the Ghandalf of Ableton, but at least I will try to get some of my knowledge out while showing you the process I take when I work on tunes. Who knows, maybe i'll find people that have creative tips for my work. That would be nice.

So I about have a livestream ready to go. Now I seem to have run into a problem. I figured I would use soundflower to route my audio into the stream. 1 major problem however, is that with soundflower selected as an output in Ableton preferences, the sound runs into Ustream fine, however I have no output, so I dont hear anything. If I was to try and just listen to my stream I sense a huge issue with phasing. Any tips so I can stream and produce with no problems?

I just routed my soundflower through audacity's input. Its working alright if i just use audacity to give me a signal through my monitors. I sense a bit of latency, but, oh well, atleast I can hear what I am doing. Anyways, im doing some stuff live right now. Gonna be working on a neurofunk tune for a while. Feel free to join the chat and give me advice as well as ask some advice. =]
