is this the same guy that featured on slimzee,s bingo beats album on wonders "arabian nights"?
i listened to headhunter b2b appleblim on fwd podcast and i rate him , i havnet heard him live but i think it would be a privalige if i did. he has his own style which is key!
think ppl expect him to be rhyming all the time etc but an mc is a host of an event as well hence master of ceremony.
big up crazy

At first i wasn't sure. Then I heard him live a couple of times. LEGEND.
His little catch-phrases are sick, as soon as i hear one in a rave it brings back all the happy memories of FWD with mates, or DMZ etc. They become little signifiers are fun and amazing tunes. I like the fact he brings a slightly garage edge to a sound that perhaps might do well to move back in that direction.
Some of them are so so ridiculous (in a good way).
'This one out to the girl and guy, aye aye'
'Body workin, we eat everything, even the gherkin' (I swear he said that once!!)
And then the classic
'Wo wo woahhh'

Im with Baron on this, i have always thought Crazy is very GQ esq
and GQ is the DADDY MC
Crazy is the main man, i think hes the most perfect MC for dubstep, hosting, jokes, lyrics and quick witted one liners .... rate him so much for gettin the balance absoloulty perfectly on point.
nothin but upmost love & respecct
when he went on holiday to Jamacia and on bookings abroad he was away for 4 weeks....fwd jus didnt seem the same, niether was KISS ....

Crazy is a badman for interaction... he's live! one of the ravers with the mic, he respects the people in there skankin, and knows when to let tunes breath aswell...
See Crazy in a venue, adding the the atmosphere, before passing too much negative judgement

lisa stansfied - people hold on
Everybody's looking for a meaning
Everybody's doing their own thing
And nobody's solving the problem
Ain't nobody helping each other
Some people give into fear
Some people give into hunger
Some of us live for the future
And some of us wonder
Givin' into life, givin' into love
Maybe there's enough for everyone
Givin' into hope, and into trust
Maybe there's enough for everyone
Chorus:
People hold on
Don't do yourself wrong
People hold on
We've got to be strong
People hold on

I can't stand this MC on radio though I haven't heard him live.
I skip every radio show when he is over the mic as it's too annoying for me to listen the same shit every time.
Poax and Spaceape are the best imo.

concering radio sets i've heard i'd say pokes definitely is one of the best dubstep mc's by far at the moment. spaceapes vocals on kode9 tunes are sick, very mystical and intruiging, more lyrical. i personally like crazy d's phrases sometimes, but other times it's just purely annoying. haven't seen him live though, i guess mc's are always better live in a club with good vibe etc..
it's obvious that he is a pillar of this scene and does a lot to push it fwd but watching some dmz footage with pokes on the mic that just sounds way better. that's an mc i'd really pay a lot of money to see live and host a party..pure vibes..and pokes soundsystem/patois mc style plus his rough voice fits way better to the heavy beats (imo).
