Need my laptop, my headphones and a place to sit basically. I don't mind
the fancy ssl equipped studios at the school either.

@Hircine Those fucking phones! I can't stand them. Cellphones, landlines, internet calling. I hate it all. Doorbells as well. I despise those things.

I normally produce at home with my laptop, light on, AT NIGHT (Around 10pm I just start being a much better producer which then stops at about 12am), can of coke (used to be a loaded bong, but i realized that didnt actually help)...
Favourite places are where I will NOT get distracted (no internet)... Mainly on the train, sometimes on the loo ^^

'kin hell, you have the AC on in england at the moment and you will have icicles dangling from your nips. wish i was there hahaHircine wrote:That and AC turned on. No drinks, no noise, no telephones.jrisreal wrote:I need to not have other people near me.
I find later hours are good, and my workspace/room has to be clean (which it rarely is!) i cant stand clutter when trying to produce. also, i usually have the TV on too real low in the background. and a big thick hoody on haha.
Re: Production Environment?
To really produce produce, have to be in my studio (dining room). But there have been times when I couldn't even sit at my desk, like NOTHING would happen, was doing much better stuff on laptop in bed late at night. But all that laptop stuff is throwaway. Like it can't go anywhere.
I've recently gotten like, a lot of stuff sorted out. I've really simplified. One delay. Getting close to one reverb. One comp, one limiter. One eq. Just getting everything really simplified, and known well, so am having trouble doing anything other than in my studio.
