toucher and rich made a great comment today that the caps are gonna play like caged animals due to what will happen to the front office if they don't make a run
Yeah, they basically have everything to lose at this point. It's going to be an ugly series, and I hope the B's keep their cool.
wen have they ever been know to do that

Well the Rangers were the only team to win their game somewhat convincingly.
All other games went to at least one period of overtime. Bit disappointed in Chicago but all other results are in the line of expectations. Still see STL-SJS going to 7 games after that first showing.

Wow! 6 point night for Giroux. I'm gonna have words with a few friends that support the Pens who thought MAF should be getting Vezina consideration.

Go Blues! Oshie ftw. lol or Detroit. I know everyone here hates the Red Wings but I like em.

lol, there's already two other red wings fans just on this board, so I doubt everyone hates them.
Anyway,
As expected the Devils were just superior to the Panthers. The score is closer than the game was. I still say they could do it in 4 games.
But I'm shocked at Vancouver really, they were my big favourites for the Stanley Cup, and they're 0-2 down with two (2-4) losses to surprisingly gritty L.A. (who I'd given just 5 games, so that would mean VAN. have to win the next three, not going to happen). It would blow the competition out west open if the Canucks were to be eliminated in round 1, something I wouldn't mind.
Another away win too for Philadelphia and an impressive one at that, they outscored Pittsburgh (something not many teams did) and not just by a small margin, by 3 goals (and 8 in total)! I think Philadelphia could be on their way to a complete rout of Pittsburgh. And I thought this series would go all the way to 7. Go Phillie, fuck the Penguins.
Good to see Detroit pulling level, they are strong at home and I hope they'll grab that possible 3-1 lead, which should give them the series and the upset.

Anyone else watching the Sens/Rangers game? Two minutes in and there's a guy on each team already ejected and it's getting really physical.

It really should be spelled 'Misery'. lol I'm watching the Blues/Sharks. Must be a really crappy feeling starting off the game scoring on yourself. haha

Ah hell, With Datsyuks goal at 15 in the third I was setting myself up for a Detroit comeback, then a minute later alls gone to shit. Opportunity missed for the Red Wings, don't lose at home for most of the season but in the play-offs, everything is different. Momentum will be back with the Preds, going to be a tough road for Detroit.
