You're using a cracked version of FL? There is your problem, try buying it..
There is no such thing as a 'dubstep' synth, let alone massive being the 'only' one. There are too many good synths to name, this has been discussed to death on these forums. You should try reading a bit.

i would love to buy Fl trust me i have wanted to for so long but its out of my price range.....many things that have to do with the music making but im so passionate about it that i just get all the free stuff hoping that one day i can afford the good stuff .....and i have searched this forum site and have found several good vsts but when 1 i cant even install proper synths and 2 find proper synths i have a pretty chuncky list of free vsts and effects on my fl but im never quite sure if im doing things right anyways i guess im just getting off topic its just really difficult to find good info especially where im from where the only ones that do the dubstep thing are a bunch of kids doing it because its the "in thing" anyways if someone can post post a few vsts that are i guess i wont say dubstep vsts but the best for doing wobbles etc ... i know there are several ways to make a sub bass, a wobble and so on but im always looking for the next best thing and maybe one day ill be able to afford FL because i would love to buy it

Big Thread of Free VST Plugins!
by futures_untold » 30 Jul 2008, 05:13

Start with the Freeware Studio

Freeware Studio Pack

Also below you will find a list of sites dedicated to providing free music software. They are listed in order of useability and the amount of free plugins they list. http://www.gersic.com/plugins truly excels in listing every new freeware plugin released.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Amazing Free Audio Software Site!

Some Other Good Sites to Browse Through (If you really need too...)

Some Alright Sites (These sites simply repeat the ones listed above, yet are more difficult to navigate and feature fewer links...)

http://www.vstplanet.com/Instruments/VS ... sizers.htm
http://www.free-plugin-list.com/
http://www.sonicspot.com/index.html
http://www.vstcentral.com/plugins.aspx

Some Desperate Sites (Poorly laid out and pretty boring. Only dig through these if you're a audioware junkie!)

http://noolmusic.com/links.shtml

Threads Concerning Free VST's (Lists individual plugins and plenty of plugin developers... Provides links to many of the plugins that can be found more easily above).

ethics of pirating aside, i find myself to be more productive when working in the paradigm of limited resources. if you like your daw now, save up and buy it. and learn it inside out while you are saving.

if you really need a certain type of plug-in because your daw's native stuff doesnt seem to be cutting it, you will demo/research new stuff much more thoroughly if you have to shell out $100 for it. and if you do spend that kind of money, you will probably force yourself to use it a lot more

The problem is where it's being installed to. For some reason it's going to the wrong place. Did you try what I said? Still didn't mention your OS or 32/64 architecture. Just find Massive.dll and point FL to it in the 'extra' settings. If it happens with a lot of installers like you mentioned, it's most likely a 32/64 issue and VST2 vs VST3 as VST3 installs to different locations as well. Somewhere in the Common Files directory I think.

put the .dll file in your vst directory? simple as that. put it in the same place as the other plugins that have been scanned and work.

Massive is at the bottom of the list in the, not in alphabetical order. Go to FL Studio > Plugins > VST, put Massive.dll in there. Go to channels, select more. Press Refresh > Fast Scan. Go all the way to the bottom, under VST 1 + 2 Plugins. Select Massive.

You win.
