absolute classic, loved this one since i was a little kid, and it keeps getting better and more relevant everyday. and it's been on repeat for me and a friend after a very insane weekend. This Must Be The Place is also another classic for me. some of their stuff just makes you wanna laugh and cry at the same time

also this one. breathtaking..

Any fans?

Oh, almost forgot - do you know the backstory behind this song?

Apparently he was fucking his best friend's girl and the dude walked in on 'em. Puts it all in context, don't it?

David's blog is fantastic if you haven't checked it out: http://journal.davidbyrne.com/

Does anyone have any recommendations based on TH being my favourite "band"?

Lotta interesting bands in NYC and other spots around the same time (mid/late 70's to early early eighties.) Check out Liquid Liquid, Television, Modern Lovers...

...maybe Roxy Music too... ?

there is a track on the vinyl of Bush of Ghosts that is missing from the CD, and a different track was substituted instead.

This album was so ahead of its time, recorded around the same time as Remain In Light.

Saw the Tom Tom Club support Gang Of Four at a Meltdown a few years back, they were like a cruise ship cover band :(

First song from the album.

Hated it at first but it's growing on me.
