Most, but no psytrance, breaks or electro house. The can fuck off
Re: Favorite EDM genre besides dubstep?
i'm going to go out on a limb and say, basically any EDM produced in the UK.
america's side just really doesn't tickle my ears.
sounds i'm feeling the most right now? Cosmic Bridge.. ie, the 170/85bpm tunes produced by people like Om Unit, Kromestar etc etc.

UKG for me, I love the bouncy stuff and the dark stuff, even some of that really cheesy garage can be nice sometimes

i don't specifically mean to be derogatory towards america or something, this is just how it is for me..hutyluty wrote:i wish people would stop saying stuff like this.BlueyTeamTom wrote:i'm going to go out on a limb and say, basically any EDM produced in the UK.
listen to american producers take on house, then listen to someone from the UK, and i'm just amazed, too me, personally, music in the UK appears to come more from the heart, the soul, than in america.
it's a really blunt generalisation, but it's a personal preference.
obviously there are good american producers, good american EDM, and obviously shite UK producers and shite UK EDM.
i come from australia, our music is shit.

Really? I think you're listening to the wrong kind of American House tbh- seeing as it was invented there and all.BlueyTeamTom wrote:

I suppose its just personal prefernce but well- theres good producers and bad everywhere- you just have to search hard enough
for example australia- this guy on soundcloud is making sick beats http://soundcloud.com/travisb9
Re: Favorite EDM genre besides dubstep?
of course i am, finding good music is about exploring/searching, and when it gets to house my care for exploring isn't as high (everything about my post is my personal, not even an opinion, just me), and through past experience with mulptiple genres of music (outside of EDM even) if i'm searching for something too listen too, i'm going to search similar too what i'm currently feeling.hutyluty wrote:Really? i'm sure you respect and understand this
if your willing too hit us up with some sick american house producers i'd truly appreciate it.
and, you just gained that man another follower, tunes are large, pure vibes, it's our industry and how music is perceived as a whole in our country that's shit, imo.

Re: Favorite EDM genre besides dubstep?
Dunno really, recently i've been getting into house/bass music kinda stuff, juke and heavy 100bpm shit like opiuo, tipper, koan sound etc... Most of the time that I'm not listening to dubstep I'm listening to metal/hardcore or shit like cardiacs though
