I haven't finished a track yet.. been producing since april or something like that. :P
I've had ~20 songs that I scrapped. Will start over on them sometime :) just lacking in producing skills to finish them the way I want it

If i'm not to fucked from work i can finish 1 a week.Last couple of tunes i have done have been finished in under 10 hours. One i am working on currently for the 48hr comp io've spent probably 15hrs and it is nearly done just gotta sort second half and outro.
I only really suffer creative lulls when im really fucking tired.
Off work for next 2 weeks so i want to finish another ep and maybe more depending on how fucked i get each day.
I try to start a tune and finish it now as opposed to starting 4-5 in a few days.

I'm still working out what finished means to me. Starting to focus lots more on mixdowns and getting each element sitting where I want it to instead of where its ended up as I've gone along.

Like most people I've got stacks of half done projects and loops. Like to listen back to them sometimes to see how far I've come since I started.

And for inspiration when I hit a wall on a project I just listen to music. Eventually I get the urge to get back to it and my heads swimming with ideas again

Im trying settle into the rhythm of finishing one completely polished track every 2-3 weeks. Seems to be around the standard for most pros. Unless youre insanely focused or a magician, i feel like anything more would start to eat away at quality.

none, haven't finished one in months.
i think i'm just unsure of the sound i want to go for. i get a song roughly done in a few days and decide it's not something i want to polish so i move on

Most I have ever done is like 4 in a week. It's normally about 1 or 2 if i'm lucky though
And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

I've had writers block for months. Before that, maybe one track every month.

Well, in my entire time of producing (2 years) ive completed 2 tracks
Right now, im finding that i have the know how that i didnt have when i started, but i dont have the time on my hands to actually work on anything
Living in a house with 5 other lads, and im constantly being pestered to do stuff like watch TV and "stop being anti social"
i barely get an hour or so a day to even look at my DAW, which sucks. Although im going home over the weekend, so i might blag off some time there, then going back for summer
Im gonna try and blast out maybe a tune a month over summer
