Probably get ripped to shreds for this, but I wish Kromestar and the labels that put out releases for him had higher quality control. He's had some absolutely sick tunes out (Rainy Days, Surgery, Mental Universe/Triangles with Dark Tantrums) but tunes like this and Jabber Jaws are just whack man.
The drums on Noiz sound sick, but that midrange is just unnecessary. It's just unpleasant to listen to.

Despite the fact i'm a huge kromestar fan, and he is easily one of my top 3 favourite producers.. i understand/respect what you say, it makes sense, and i do agree too some extent.
i think the thing about kromestar, well, especially his noisy dubs that he's carrying of recent, it can almost only be mixed with tunes by kromestar of the same nature, hahaha.
the 5 minutes following him dropping monster dub on getdarker #120 was just too much!
you shouldn't get ripped for what is a valid opinion

Yeah, I get you, his good tunes are REALLY good, and up there as some of my favourite pieces on my shelf, and he can do aggy tunes well (probably better than anyone else, like I said, "Triangles" is one of my favourites) but at times it just goes too far for me!

I like it, I didn't at first but it's grown on me a lot, it's by no means Kromestar's best but I can imagine this going off at a club. Will find out if he drops it at Cable at the next Getdarker lol. Disagree with people saying he's better at the aggy thing than Coki though, stuff like Goblin and Voodoo Dolls absolutely destroy.

Oh how wrong are you

Tune reminds me of an afternoon of shopping for clothes. It's pants.
Flip is ok. Completely agree with Garethom: needs moar quality control. Drums? Yes they are better than most tear-out, but that's where praise ends.

Love Kromestar's tearout. Straight Error is MURDER. Noiz is big. Can't wait to drop it. Even if it WAS by someone on Rottun I'd play it. I like that Excision tune '2005' that came out last summer.
This 12" always gets overlooked, one of my favorite bits of Krome's... percy...

To those who don't like this tune, do you like "The Lions Theme"? Isn't it also called "Mersher"or something like that? I feel like that tune is way more obnoxious and mid-rangy than this one.
I agree in that I feel like Kromestar has had more releases than most producers in the scene, and thus has the largest discography of any producer in the scene, and because of that they're either hit or miss. For me, I love Noiz, it's just some good tearout, at least it's not all kinds of screaming samples, and tons of different, unorganized, and scattered midrange synth lines that get horribly boring. I understand when you say it's just a little too much and the midrange isn't necessary though.
It amazes me how Kromestar can make tunes like this, but then turn around and hit us with a tune like Jasmine..

I don't get why people moan about "system music" it's like complaining how awful a beautiful landscape photo takes on someones phone and how much better it would be seeing it for yourself.

I'm not one of them, but I know a few people feel that far too many whack tunes that lesser producers would get packed for get away with being described as "system music".

I saw Distance drop this live. It was the tune of the night. The triplets and bass-weight on this tune are unreal!
