Allow the butter.wormcode wrote:You need a bun. And it needs to be buttered, and toasted on the bbq right next to the burger.
I do enjoy just the burger meat by itself, but buns are best. With sesame seeds. And you use the onion that's been smoking in foil for the last hour, it's so moist and soft that it melts in the bun.
Better than store bought

Try it it's amazing. Not like a huge spread, just enough to help it get toasted without drying out and becoming crunchy like a crouton.PinUp wrote: Allow the butter.

I normally toast the insides then assemble my burger, pour a little water around it and cover it with a lid for a few seconds.wormcode wrote:Try it it's amazing. The steam kind of glazes the bun which is fucking lovely!

Re: BBQ related question
This reminds me of one time I was in Barcelona in a somewhat fancy restaurant. I ordered the "gourmet burger" or whatever it was called, expecting a big delicious burger.
What I actually got was ground beef scattered on a bunch of chopped up vegetables on a plate. I was not amused.
THAT'S NOT A FUCKING BURGER.

Re: BBQ related question
Agree with the bun, but BBQ is meant to be simple.
Enjoy it whatever way is fitting.

Just because you are a character, does not mean you have character.

Will try that, water where now?? On the actual burger? Hmm.PinUp wrote:I normally toast the insides then assemble my burger, pour a little water around it and cover it with a lid for a few seconds.wormcode wrote:Try it it's amazing. I mean like a grilled cheese method. Not all the time though, sometimes just a normal burger is best.
This method (just not as much butter as it can detract from the burger taste)

Do a little ring of water around the edge of the burger, try not to get the bun wet if you can.wormcode wrote:Will try that, water where now?? On the actual burger? That reminds me. Anyone down with bean burgers? I've had the kind where the actual burger is made from beans, like a veggie burger type thing. I mean where you spread mashed beans on the burger like it was mayo or whatever. I've also had avocado burger which is the same idea, it's pretty damn great.

Dza, yeah, I thought that was the direction.
I've got to come out of the closet, I've eaten several burgers without a bun. And yes, fork and knife. Don't hate me.
