I get you, although the key word in your comment is "only".

About blockfish, I tend to find that in the endless oceans of free plugins there are a handful, but only a handful of really fantastic quality plugins. Fish fillets are one, Banksy's stuff another.

there called rack extensions basically vst just for reason so you can load and save them in combinators cntrl z working in them, and they are cross platform...theres a bunch of developers already on board for when it drops in the summer

Why not just take the full plunge and just become all-out VST/AU compatible? Stability?

yup...reason is built around stability, they are implementing this thing were if the rack extension crashes only that device crashes and the rest of the project is backed up and asks you if you want to delete the crashed device

Oh actually that's a pretty cool idea :) I've never had any VST crash before though so it doesn't seem like a huge worry

ableton's operator, massive, and nexus (i like the presets)

voxengo stereo touch, ableton's eq revereb and all that stuff, ohmicide
