that doesn't really add to the discussion either. I liked Muse's Origin of Symmetry. I thought they were a good outfit with some great songs. The brostep thing is just fucking awful. It's not even an ok track even if you're into bro. It's bad writing, ugly sounds, seriously poor structure

no-one said they're not musically inclined, its the fact the audio in the video sounds dreadful and is years late.

My brother is a hardcore Muse fan and even he thinks this is shit...
I'm guessing people that got into Muse by watching Twilight will like this...

I dont listen to "rock" music, but I thought Muse were supposed to be classy and shit, unique and as "alternative" as a band in their position can be... nevermind the audio, that video was the corniest shit. Are they just joking with this?

I dont get how they can afford to get like full orchestras in to get huge orchestral sounds for their tracks, and then they throw them away for some awful, weak drop, consisting of the most piss poor sounds ever!

Such a shame. I used to hammer Origin of Symmetry/Absolution when they were at their peak - both seminal albums. After that it just went horribly wrong. At one time I honestly thought Muse weren't the sorta band who crumble like this, but wow - now they're jumping on the brostep band wagon? That's a new low for a band who more or less defined the phrase "selling your arse".
Muse are fucking awful and always have been. However they are clearly talented musicians even if they write horrible music.
However here it just sounds bad. It's not even that they're playing songs I don't like. It's just terrible.

You not swayed by any of these?
Origin of Symmetry's definitely a personal favourite.

Considering most people who make "dungeon" are brostep producers who jumped on the "deep" bandwagon, who gives a shit. More props to a rock band fusing electronic ideas into their music than scensters jumping ship.

It's hardly fusing it with their own music (based on this brief example) it's just them saying "let's do a dubstep now, it's pretty popular at the moment." Even Korn's attempt at this was a bit sleeker, it at least still sounds like them. Shit as it is.

Which dungeon producers were brostep producers? And this is hardly a 'fusion' of electronic ideas, this is Muse getting on a bandwagon that has already crashed.
