But he's right.
maybe from a 2012 point of view. overall i don't see why this should be their most interesting/original tunes (the techno bit isn't original at all either), when it were KM who built the roots for modern halfstep/'dungeon' sound years ago.
Weeell, SP:MC - Trust Nobody is older than any KM dubstep so you could claim it was the first dungeon tune, but I know what you mean. Also yeah, they've done better tunes than this. Badman, Cold Blooded, Follow Me and Root Remix instantly come to mind. Didn't stop me bagging this and Aksum earlier though :6:

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

I wasn't referring to the tunes originality within the dubstep scene, I was more so interested in it based on it's uniqueness compared to all of the other tunes that I've heard from them specifically.

Very interesting to see kryptic minds producing at 128bpm on breach. Weren't they talking about having an albums worth of non 140 material earlier in the year? Wonder if that will ever happen, & if so would it be similar to this? Not sure if id want that much of it but it would make for some good variation on the next album!

Either way big up kryptic minds for trying out new sounds and new tempos! :Q:

Idiom is the one. Didn't care much for Breach tbh.

This is still pretty similar to a lot of their other stuff.. but I get where you're coming from. I don't think this tune compared to their others is showing a great change in direction or progression musically but I am glad they're making some sort of change in their music.. its by no fault of their own that the dungeon sound is going a bit stale but I'm glad they're trying to spice it up a little adding some techno-y influences.

Really liking the release.. bagged it! I haven't brought a KM record since Cold Blooded, big ups KM :Q:

Both awesome tunes, I think I prefer Breach though. I wasn't expecting that but I really like that Techno feel, would love to see a collab with Icicle if they plan on doing more 4x4 stuff.

@GWOS I hope that's true because it could mean more drum and bass from them :corndance:

New dnb tunes from them would be awesome, but I doubt that's the case. Think I read in a recent interview that they might do some dnb again though.

Oh, well at least we know there's a chance for some new dnb from them in the future. :)

Definitely agree on the icicle collab idea!

As far as the dnb goes, never really got into their earlier dnb stuff but would be interested to see what they could do at 170 these days now their production skills have developed alot more.

Anyone notice how on the production credits on the artwork it only lists Si? Seems like this one is a solo venture. I personally think it's sick, although wouldn't like to think they're gonna move completely over to this 4x4 techno sound everyone is on recently, personally don't find that rhythm structure that interesting. But yeah, can't wait to mix breach

Also, with regards to new dnb, they said there would be none on the new non-140 album. But I'm sure that doesn't rule out new dnb somewhere along the line

Anyone know how limited this is going to be? I want to get a copy, but it'll be a few weeks until I can realistically afford it!
