808 kicks are heavenly as a sub bass and 808 claps are really punchy. All around great sounding. These usual layer well together and layer well with other samples.
A true 808 sounds amazing man. But to justify the pricetag... I guess I see your point. Still, they sound insane when you start tweaking them live.
