My name is one i've had since AOL was still cool. Basically, I saw a documentary on piranhas and it said that they're an opportunist fish. They only feed on the dead, dying, or wounded. I decided that an IMPATIENT piranha would go out and wound something, then eat it... so my name is pretty much my way of reminding myself that you've gotta go out and create your own opportunities.

I picked it because I like first person shooters, but I really suck at them, so I'd just end up running around drawing fire. This allowed the more skilled teammates to have a shot at everyone shooting at me. plus it's short, easily spelled, and only 2 syllables.
Best reason i think i have read in a thread like this,...I also suck at games aswell. Maybe we should team up on CT?

i used to like burgers. so i was told that i'd burgled all the burgers. then i liked bagels..so. I became bagelator. then someone reckoned that i look like a steve (my name is ed) so steve bagelator. then the bagelating part came to mean procrastinating, cos i used to like the greenery a little too much. and so, the myth has been dissected. long live the myth

not something im terribly proud of but..

i started up an online journal/blog thing and called it "lost incyde" because i was not enjoying life in my early teenage years. later on i cut out the "lost" part and retained the "incyde" using it for other various online aliases and for my dj name. recently i decided to add in my name, alex, to distinguish it a bit more. hence 'alex incyde'.

it works good though now as well. Like Alex is inside the studio or something...

As for my name -my mom and my wife created my name. It is a hyphenated version of the first letter in my first name with the selector added to pay homage to my love of jamaican music without appropriating the jamaican spelling (since i am not from jamaica).

Marsyas' story...
He was purportedly born in Celaenae (or Kelainai) in Phrygia (today, the town of Dinar in Turkey) at the main source of the Meander (the river Menderes). Marsyas was an expert player on the double-piped reed instrument pipe known as the aulos. He found the instrument on the ground where it had been tossed by its inventor Athena, after the other gods made sport of how her cheeks bulged when she played.

In the contest between Apollo and Marsyas, the terms stated that the winner could treat the defeated party any way he wanted. Since the contest was judged by the Muses, Marsyas naturally lost and was flayed alive in a cave near Celaenae for his hubris to challenge a god. Apollo then nailed Marsyas' skin to a tree, near Lake Aulocrene (Karakuyu Gölü). His brothers, nymphs, gods and goddesses mourned his death and their tears turned into the river Marsyas (in west-central Turkey, which joins the Menderes river (Meander) near Celaenae),according to the book Metamorphoses by Ovid.
