I think horses have an unfair reputation but this is probably due to my growing up on what might be called the "urban-rural fringe"

It's kind of fascinating the relationship between people and horses - I mean they're just so unbelievably domesticated. It's not like a dog where you just give it food for sitting, you're actually whipping them and stuff. It's weird to imagine some primordial Mongolian just climbing onto a wild animal and kicking it.

Horses scare and fascinate me in equal measure. I really want to take a couple and go on a romantic trek with a beautiful lady... possibly both wearing armour... but I also want to run in the opposite direction everytime I get close to one.

All i know is that when i lived in UK and was having driving lessons, horses on the road were my biggest fear. They probably are aliens.

I knew a mushrooms salesman who used to trot around at outdoor parties on his big grey horse.

A friend of my mother's had her breast bitten off by a horse. Always felt a bit funny around them since hearing that.
