There's 18000000 threads on mixing man and asking us if you've mixed something to your preference correctly without even providing audio is pointless. Its impossible to say. Just a/b with well mixed tracks and do whatever it takes to make yours sound like that.

In the end its your art. If you need help with specifics then it'll be easier to help, but asking general questions about mixing is far too vague to give an informative answer.
