I often pick up tesco's own lager as it's pretty tasty and cheap. I keep looking at Value meat but can't bring myself to do it

well it's illegal here to make distilled liquors which carry the danger of methanol contamination, and besides hillbilly moonshine in appalachia, counterfeit stuff isn't really a thing anyways

Value lager is. Standard stuff is 4% and their own brand export is 4.8%. It's not strong but it's nice enough if you fancy a beer in the after noon or after work
