I just don't appreciate peeps trying to find something wrong with everything I shared, when all I'm doing is sharing what I know. All good tho, it's not about me :)

@SunkLow yes, and FFT morphing patch would be a royal pain in the ass - no doubt. I personally don't know enough about the intricacies of ~pfft at this time, and it comes down to, do I want to make music, or make things to make my music? it's a fine line. I've made patches for my monome, and experimented with varous delays, karplus-strong, additive synths, etc. in Max, but Reaktor is a bit quicker when it comes to finishing something cool fast (compared to Max anyway)

Lately what I'll do is make abstractions, so I have modules I can just piece together. Similar to coding, It's nice to have a black box that just does what it says on the tin, ya know?

I'll have to dig around for the razor patch. I'm not sure about sharing it tho - since it's a paid synth, any mods I make to it, might still fall under their redistribution agreement. I could open up Reaktor and tell peeps how to do it - if I remember it's not that hard - you don't even really need to dig deep. I'll add it to my list of things to do!

One could, if they were so inclined, build a synth in reaktor that allowed for additive resynthesis, with a massive number of partials, and the added ability to work as a vocoder - maybe i'll dig into that later. for now, my workflow, combined with multi-group AET morph tables in Kontakt works damn well for me.

I see a lot of people talking about harmor resampling/resyntesis but did any of you use it for actual synthesis? Was wondering if its any good.

harmors ability to apply different values of any given parameter to each frequency (partial) is what sets it apart.....@misk, i would love to hear more about both using a sample as a mod in fm8 and suping up razor.....will have to look into this cross-spectral modulation...... .and i happen to be an engineer (structural) so any info you're willing to share, lay it on me : )

I'll get on that soon - for now, googling phase vocoder will give you a lot of great information. Sigmund, you probably know more math than I do, but i'll definitely geek out over this with you all soon. too much to do atm!

Or you could try running it on a mac. I tried last night and got it working in about 20 mins.

Follow this guy's tutorial that uses free software (except for Harmor).

I only had to use plugwire and audioport to get it working with Albeton. Automation via CCs works well too.
