learn to get the mixdown on point, i mean everytime you make a new mixdown. export it below odb and listen to that shit in the car, on your ipod, in a friends car, any stereo. make sure it sounds good.

ten for mastering, be simple. your not a mastering engineer so just do basic things. i would recommend ozone since it puts it all there for you.

all i do is subtle mid/side EQing. Stereo widening. sometimes multiband compression. and then some limiting to make it louder.

dont worry about making your track loud. make sure it still has dynamics and your drums have transient punch. yeah the loud tracks on your ipod grab your attention. but they sound like shit on a good system.

brostep is okay to make LOUD. but keep in mind you have to mixdown down with LOUD in mind. otherwise your just squashing life out of it.
