It was a big lineup, but it was also a big charity night. Contakt had done some serious promotion for it too - getting magazine coverage and stuff.THA ILLSTA wrote: last week, some big line-up biz I guess...

time to time I get this angry. it's all about the hypocracy of chit-chat merchants on tha forum e.t.c.
someone puts on a good night, for little or no profit...
peeps need to reach an' support.
don't watch the school night biz, people.. back in the day I used to go rage every thursday, bus home at 4 in the morning, and still get to work for 9 (ish)

once i came home with +++no sleep+++jet-lag e.t.c, put tha boiler on,
woke up 4 hours later to dry boiler with broken thermo making SFX sounds and a house full of steam...can still see the drip marks down tha wall.
Oh well bring on THE END then!
Was pretty quiet at FWD last Friday, no queue at all when I popped out for a snout. Was a really good night too, Youngsta caning some serious old classics (including a few of yours Benny).THA ILLSTA wrote: I like the way the queue for FWD stretches down to great eastern road,
Maybe we should make them all charity events and guarantee a turnout

despite how sum peeps are feelin and the obvious (oops) i thought it was pretty good, and even though at the start of our set it was lookin slim, next thing i knw, i looked up and the 2nd room was of a respectable size in terms of people, they were on it, making noise...i couldn't ask for better support. I had a good time

Noooooooo! I was looking forward to next month. Elemental AND Tes La Rok, oh my days....
This smoking ban thing is really effecting lots of nights. I don't smoke anymore and I like not stinking of smoke when I get in, but 80% of the crowd going outside sucks almost as much as hearing the whining stnuc go on about it all the fucking time.
Soz for not attending, the black crack ate all my mahoney.

These fuckers are the one's you should be slapping

I used to love sparking a snout and getting on the dancefloor - now look what they've done. It's made nights a shit load less fun for the tobacco fiends and consequently emptied the rooms so less atmosphere for everyone (although far less polluted I guess)
Hmm....
