hey, global bass is one of the few terms to name this eclectic bass music full of 'ethnic' sounds.
This is the world music 2.0 (as deejay rupture defined it a few years ago) blending electronic with folk from all over the world.
You can mix for instance cumbia & dubstep, flamenco & hiphop, gypsy and drumnbass, african rythm and techno, .... and achieve something that could be called global bass. This is basically making new with old, mixing technology with culture
