I really like the idea of this thread, hopefully it can grow.
Perhaps the title could be worded a little differently to prevent the people who for some reason have a problem with this thread existing as an independent thread from filling up the thread with complaints.

Recreate other peoples tracks. You'll never get it perfect but looking at all the different aspects of a song and recreating them gives way to new ideas and more ideas of how to go about doing your own arrangements.

Also producing different genres helps alot too. Thinking of yourself as a 'dubstep producer' is kinda limiting.
