Electronic music hasnt been the same since dubstep went mainstream.
Its the same thing that happened to hiphop in the 80's
i get more aggravated for the fact ive been producin since 05. And still cone up with some quality. And kids have just started in 2011 and are makin it with ease?????
And i have all the love passion and inspiration in the world
But i think im tryin to get to expert level with all that knowledge but nothin.
hard to stay positive when u feel ur to far behind after all that work.

I've had friends over when I was mixing that said, "So you are making those songs right now?"

That's actually happened several times...

I was one of those people that always wanted to make music, cause its one of my true passions. My friend and I got Fl when we were 19. I gave up after two weeks because it was "to hard" , 5 years later he continues to produces and djs to this day. I made it a resolution 2012 to get back into it.

I know how hard it is, but this day an age with all the videos on youtube and tutorials out there if you have the didication you will get the hang of it. I've been surprised that there are a couple big name produces that have answered some of my questiosn about how they composed certain elements.

I as well cant stand people that think Djing= producing, here there are a lot of djs that think they produce as well thats a big gripe. I have friends that think its so easy as well when they see the layouts on ableton. They say you just add sounds together. I gladly hand them over the machine and let them try from scratch to make a song, i should upload those "masterpiecies" to soundcloud ................. LOL
