How come youve lived in Russia? dont think ive ever heard the story behind that!

Hmm for me

I cant remember the exact time 2004/5 maybe? but this tune blasting on the train down to hastings with my mates going to ride their sick skatepark pretty much for the duration of summer (so much so locals thought we lived in hastings).

We would have whole carriges to ourselves and up to 20 of us all pilled in :cornlol:

Song came from an amazing for the time video, video part for a guy called Cory Martinez and it included clips from hastings.
We met him there later that month and just kind of stood there in dumb aww like
"wtf this guy is from the midwest USA, a legend and hes sat next to us at the park"

Same era, same place, for an event called Boyley Jam.
My first and (only :cornlol: ) comp entrance. This blasting in the back ground bombing about. Was sick! came fourth out of twenty people so not bad. Can still picture the whole day in my head with this playing and how I ate shit trying to 360 a 9ft ramp :)

My 14 year old self, potwashing in the back of a pub with two slightly older guys who would put on Radio one and it would be dance stuff like pete tong etc(that I knew nothing about).
This song comes on as I was doing something mudane like making desserts and I was like "holy fuck this is amazing" and stopped work till it finished :corndance: pretty much got me into electronic music!

That will do for now!

Whenever I hear the Kelly G remix of Tina Moore - Never Gonna Let You Go, takes me back to sitting in the car park of a hospital with my dad waiting for visiting hours to start so we could go and see my mom. Proper intense, it's actually like I can see what I saw from the car, like I could probably go to the car park and pin down the space we were parked in

Don't remember hearing a garage tune before that, probably the tune that kicked off my chart garage love haha. Must've been about 8? Such a tune.
