You should register your new name if you're serious about it. Actually, everybody should register their names on the band name registry just so that all this 'I was here first' nonsense doesn't happen.

I had some trouble a while back with a couple of rock bands who had the same name as my mine. Luckily, I got a record out while they were still playing the pub circuit, so I was there first.

But, they don't half like to whine and threaten you with legal action, though.

I think you're ok if there is a somebody using the same name as you in another country, but you just can't do business in that country. Ever.

I got woken up by some couple arguing at 4. The two stereotypes were

a/ drunk girl that flirts around in front of her boyfriend and then regrets it tearfully a few hours later, and

b/ micro-penised, public school passive aggressor who milks it for all it's worth. He actually said to sobbing gal "I worship the ground you walk on, and you...you treat me like a doormat" - did he nick this off Eastenders I wonder

Hopefully they don't breed
