the memory it can help but not always. look at the system monitor. then open so much the live software. look at the system monitor. load the heavy project. look at the system monitor. press the playing button. press the button again and stop SO much. look at the system monitor. ask yourself the questions about how much memory you need after looking

I think as a std now 8gb or more.
Ram is affordable and easy to replace.
