Saying that to move the thread on in a nothing to see here fashion,i just tend to ignore people.I've had a few people ask for help more than anything. Some guy i helped he played one of my tracks out and on his internet station.Another i was meant to help(sorry dread if ya reading)but i just got tied up with life stuff.
I tend not to just hand over stuff until i get to know people a bit better, some shaddy characters out there and all that jizz.
Yeah very true, i guess it is chance that i happened to see this (a mate actually directed my attention to it). Apologies to SpectralFunk, just had to get that off my chest at the time!

Anyway, carrying on with what you were saying, i actually tend to reply to everyone even if just to decline an offer, though usually im happy to give out stems and stuff but i imagine that would change if i was a better producer, at which point i would probably want to keep the stuff i've worked hard on to myself (i imagine this is why many remix competitions don't include drum stems).

I had quite a few collab-requests last month to which i just told them that i was happy to try but i know that collabs for me dont usually go too well unless we're both using Ableton which makes it easy to share live packs. I guess i should really just say no as i know i won't do it but i feel i need to keep my options and connections open more :)

lloydy kind of got my drift there with the whole getting to know someone/shady business shit... like I said I just didn't get round to replying to you before using you as an example here. :W:

I just had a similar entanglement.
I Weasled around it by getting a remix instead of a collab. Well I suggested that and then he did t get back to me. His problem though.
