Behringer make the worst products of any kind, ever (no offence to the behringer heads)
my first mixer was a Behringer, was great to learn on but it was really poorly built. by the end 3/4 of the channels had just died

i can't remember the model but it was stanton. the thing weighs like maybe one kilogram and has no torque whatsoever in the platter motor. it's also made from like the cheapest plastic

Not so much bad cdjs but a djm800 that was completely fucked - even with the channel fader all the way down the sound still came out the front, so had to beat match out loud basically. This was at a very well-known club too. I told the sound tech guy about it and he basically told me to fuck off..

tbf that rack thing was hooked up to a proper mixer so that wasn't so bad
the jog wheels didn't work at all though, they'd just skip the tune forwards or backwards by a second or some shit
you get used to just using the cue and pitch faders to mix

They were still rocking a pair very similar to these last year at leeds fest, one deck broke and one of the guys lent me an iphone to mix with, started a circle pit to rudimental which i thought was an achievement

Still got mine! However you have put to rest my theory that once I'd made the jump to a respectable pair of turntables it'd be a piece of piss to mix

pair of technics where the pitch was adjusted to what must have been +20 at the fastest and +8 at the slowest
no paint on them either due to the amount of cheap vodka that had been lobbed over em

Direct drive version of these are some of the nicest decks I've played on.
