Sky customer service rang me the other day to ask how a recent instalation went. Normally you get some non accent (to a point) type, but this girl had the thickest south london accent ever!

I was intending to end the convosation, with some "safe blud" type slang but i chickend.

i work with a dude from there with a thick accent, and i can understand him. even if i dont get a word, theres so much attitude that i can tell what he's talking about. oh and i guess 90% of the time he is talking about the female that just walked by

Here's one for you. England alone has 54 distinct regional accents. Apparently, the US only has 13.

Now, this may not be reliable but, given the age of our respective countries, it's plausible. It's mad to think that Liverpool and Manchester are so near each other but have very distinctive accents.

SO funny. i went to school with two dudes from georgia and it sounded like a banjo or something every time they talked. didnt ever understand a word they said. and the gold fronts didnt help them speak any clearer. nonetheless its a fun time listening to them talk. just can never understand

the long island thing is true, but what bothers me more than the accent is the people. i could tolerate listening to them speak, but not looking at them. such annoying loud obnoxious people.

and no offense either
