My Mum owned it, she said I could have it when I found it around the house.

Not sure what my first tape was, we had a double tape deck so just used to copy my older brothers. I remember clearly having an Ice T tape That's How I'm Living, except it wasn't it had Incredible the MBeat and General Levy tune. On both sides. No idea where it came from, probably pinched from my older brother.
Played it till it didn't sound very good anymore. my mum hated it I think. Was a good few years later before I actually knew what it was.

He once appeared on Tops Of The Pops to 'perform' this track. He had three birds wearing flight suits dancing round him whilst he mimed scratching in a snare drum roll.

The first single I remember buying was so solid crew 21 seconds
I was 10 then though so I probably had a few tapes lying around before that, nothing that I can really remember though.

Tune's a Weston Super Mare classic... normally to be heard blasting out of an XR2i Or Saxo VTR within 3 roundabouts of McDonald's drive-thru.
