depends on your level of profile and intention, one of the first tunes I made that got me any notice (in my area) was a garage bootleg of I need a dollar, nothing happened to me. if there's money involved, thats when they'll come down on youJensMadsen wrote:Missed your last post - cheersTopManLurka wrote:why are you fishing for examples and how many do you need ffs? everyone's different so their reactions will differ.

I had just been wondering about this a lot, because i see a lot of bootlegs floating around, but i guess not a lot happens when you do it - the tune i'm working on is by a mainstream artist who is never going to hear it anyway, but i was just wondering if his record label maybe would get in a bad mood.
it was good. wish more of those got a physical releaserayman612 wrote:yea that brodinski thing was where i found it
Exactly what i wanted to hear - cheers!LA_Boxers wrote:As long as you class it as a bootleg and not a remix you should be fine.
Had a mate that did of booty of a Redlight tune, pretty soon after the track was released (which was a vinyl only release), he sent it to Redlight but Redlight asked him to take it down, which he did. Nothing more than that.
