wtf is up with the fake grease stains on the artwork though? i contacted boomkat to say i wanted a replacement 'cos mine arrived stained.
turns out it's deliberate and they're all like it. what a bizarre move. anybody else noticed this?

the wee men were snipped out of an old medical textbook for kids, the paper was really old and some of them had bits of sellotape stuck to them... it's not 'fake grease'. i like the dodgy aged look they have to be honest, not to everyone's taste i suppose... would have been easy to redraw them but would have defeated the point, like re-recording samples in a modern studio or something...
big thanks to everyone who picked a copy up, it's really appreciated...

So that's what they are!
I thought I'd messed my copy up, good to know I can manage bacon rolls after all.

whoah- thanks for clearing that up. didn't stop the album easily being one of the most exceptional releases of the year (probably longer) for my money- just a bit of a headfuck!
anyway, captain brown-nose over and out...

lovely album.
I was immediately drawn with the melodic breakdown in Windfall, about halfway in. Oof!
