Jokes on you, everyone knows A.I. and Kanga are the go to's for Zomboymetiri wrote:Easily massive. Just double notch filter and a band reject filter, then add lfo on the amp. Try digigrain I and II and also crude. There you go.

Kind of happy that someone finally said something like this, very true.WolfCryOfficial wrote:DOK-Cgen wrote:

Fucking right. If you want to spend 15 extra hours you can try to make it in massive.
Its called FM synthesis. You'll have more control over sounds like this. And more ability to create them.
The only reason massive can do it, is because massive has simple FM wave tables. Either way. You can try to make it in massive and spend a good extra day trying to, and have little to no control over the sound, or just use FM.
But wait, too bad FM synthesis actually takes knowledge and skills to get anything good, and not brain dead button mashing like massive.
But that's just the wt part of massive.
Thing is, what if the WT section of massive was switched out for an fm matrix?
Or they released an FX version of massive that could use all of it's filters/fx/inserts/modulation capablites etc? That would be the best thing ever. I'm smiling as I type this. Should perhaps go and get a life instead.
It's legitimate to complain about wt synths in general but as far as wt synths go massive has some great modulation capabilities. Can do lots of nice stuff without automation. For braindead/lazy people. But then again, 90% of "producers" have no idea what a wavetable is and the only thing they ever touched is premade sounds in nexus and sylenth1 presets. So.
I need to stop changing my sig

I feel like giving this same answer for every sound design request:
Just layer..
Tweak your synths and use different fx (whatever is needed) on each layer till you reach the sound you're after.
I dont watch tutorials ever, i just do this for any type of sound and it works. It takes months/years of practice depending on who you are to master layering (many years for me & still learning)

All I know is that Zomboy mostly uses Loopmaster packs for his basses now. Search up Dan Larsson. He did a tutorial showing how he made the bass that Zomboy used in Terror Squad.

That was one time, one growl. Plus the here to stay loop that someone pointed out. That's hardly 'mostly uses loopmasters packs'.Guillotine wrote:All I know is that Zomboy mostly uses Loopmaster packs for his basses now. Search up Dan Larsson. Nice one man, be interested to know how you made that screechy wobble near the start of the drop. I really gotta get around to finishing my remix of that track....metiri wrote:That feel when people tell you you don't know how to zomboy, yet you zomboy anyways:
