Monsanto's CEO now says we're elitist for questioning his company's approach to food production.
So we should get in line with all the other poisoned & uninformed consumers,
the paid-off politicians, the vested-interest merchants & the embattled family farmers
and bow to his well-paid wisdom & the research of his comprimised chemists.
It comes down to this:
I want to know what's in my food
and Monsanto has no right to withold that information,
even if governments say they do.
My tshirt looks cool...not arty or fashionable...but to the point.

"Activists around the world are gearing up for a weekend of rallies to protest Monsanto, the biotechnology giant accused of genetically engineering agriculture and food while turning a blind eye to their potentially deadly health ramifications.
Organized by the 'March Against Monsanto' movement, an estimated 200,000 activists will participate in the massive campaign spanning six continents, 40 nations, and at least 48 US states.
Angered by the lack of action from governments on the issue, activists in hundreds of cities – including New York, Chicago, Montreal, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, Moscow and Melbourne – will stage coordinated protests against Monsanto and demand a ban on Genetically Engineered and Genetically Modified Organisms (GE/GMOs).
Initially a small, grassroots event, the march became a globe-spanning movement through the efforts of local activists and environmentalists. The protest is being organized on Facebook and Google Documents, where users can find a list of events near their location.

I approached the protest
realizing that everybody was in red
with me in green t
and they were virtually all females
So what do I do as they watch me approach?
I cover up the image on my t so that just "MONSANTO" shows
and start yelling "3 cheers for Monsanto! Hip hip hooray!"
which focuses their attention
[O fuck, here comes the counter protest & he looks pretty wired]
now they're virtually all trepidacious females
in fact they kinda looked like a coven sprung in the forest
so it felt like the right time to lighten the mood:
"Ha ha, just kiddin', fuck Monsanto! Where's the soup?"
Following an uncomfortable silence
I started asking the kids what the banner meant (they were holding it up)
they didn't know so I explained it to them
and then a lady came up and complimented my t
& its toxic tomato image
so I stripped off & gave it to her
Later a girl told me she was wearing one of my ts
because she doesn't like tomatoes.
Then I hugged the guy who hooked up with my ex-wife
and went & checked out Landspeed Records
till somebody came & got me for the lame speeches
I reckon walking around the burbs haranguing people was far more effective.
But anyway, apart from not getting any free soup, I had a nice time.

I think it's more the fact they sue people when their crops pollinate a non Monsanto crop.

but i've watched a few documentaries on gm crops and i can't see whats wrong with them
+ hippys seem to be scared of anything lab related, thats why i used 'hippy bullshit' - was just a joke

Exactly, gm crops are the solution to world hunger imo and all of these hippies/prangman are doing nothing but delaying science's development.

read a few of the previous posts from earlier today. No one's attacking science. If anything, this is about encouraging more research to be carried out , more regulations in place and an ethical conduct that doesnt shit on anyone who opposes them or asks for them to label which foods are gmo at the very least.

I'm not necessarily against GM crops per se - I'm sure if they're done right and safely they can do amazing things, feed millions who would otherwise starve.
What I am against is allowing a company (and especially a company like Monsanto) absolute free reign to do what they want with untested technology, without telling us what it is they're doing.
Plus I think this march was an excellent opportunity to show those in charge that people do care about issues like these, that we do have opinions and those opinions should be listened to. That applies to more than just GM crops. It reaffirmed for me that if you feel strongly about something it is your responsibility to make your voice heard....I think a lot of people were empowered by this, at least consciously. And that's the first step towards positive and meaningful change, innit.
