It's basically the way that big bullshit pop music events that are for money and not music will be ran. Point is that if they're involved in that stuff they're basically just Guetta for people who claim to be above that stuff.

Thing is though, if you was offered bare dough to do it, you probably would right? like if they say no, we want to press play for real, then they might just be like, fuck you we will just get Joey #Essex to play instead

Orbital did it back in the day on Top Of The Pops and deliberately left the cables unplugged on top of their keyboards so people could see they were taking the piss.

it wouldn't be surprising though. i've promoted for shows for well known names that we'd brought before (that shall not be named
) where our stage manager was not allowed on stage. being the crafty and nosy guy he is, he found ways to get around that....and has noticed things such as only on CDJ being turned on, while the DJ made it look like he was using multiple decks. this was odd as we knew this particular DJ actually had tons of skill, and we had seen it plenty of times before. these events are this generations milli vanilli scandals. soon enough the truth will come out and it'll all work it self out. but until then...

Surprised that people think this is a photoshop. Do you really have that much faith in disclosure/believe that "RadioToday.co.uk is the online destination for UK radio industry news. Tell a friend!" would risk doing a photoshop to discredit them for no apparent reason whatsoever.
I mean they are #1 in the album charts. It was only a matter of time before they got booked to play this sort of show and caved in and done a Guetta for the money
