Haha yeah, I wouldn't have minded but this mission took me a fair bit longer than the length of the track so it looped continuously for farr to long

Source Direct's best, Ed Rush's best > Photek's best

You're entitled to your opinion but I would say you're very wrong
Only Photek could have made modus operandi out of the 3, ni ten ichi ryu is levels above the other two as well imho

No doubt Modus Operandi is a great album, but Photek's work doesn't match the ridiculous levels of Guncheck by Ed Rush or The Crane and Enemy Lines by SD IMO.
Funny how Photek, SD and Ed Rush are all "dark", but in very different ways. Photek is more laid-back tension, mystery, driving through the city at night-dark. Source Direct and especially Ed Rush are more gun-in-your-face menacing, ninja assasination type of dark.

My favourite music from a game right now is far from bass music though...
Love the 'Atmospheres' CD from the soundtrack, music to fall asleep to.

My favorite part in Max Payne 3 gotta be the favela part with baile funk blasting from the speakers
One of my favorite virtual clubs in history of vidya. Shame the music's a bit shit though, imagine this scene with Night Slugs on.
Rez had a techno soundtrack by Ken Ishii
PSX shooter based on Ghost In The Shell had an OST made by Takkyu Ishino, japanese techno heavyweight
Your best bet would be sandbox, sport or racing games though. You can find Hudson Mohawke in NBA, Flying Lotus in Sleeping Dogs, jungle in Fifa Street 2

I want a really fucking violent, gritty, dark sci fi shooter with a soundtrack from Armour/Roly Vex'd.

Ever heard of Fallout 3?
Although it's basically an RPG it fits the "fucking violent, gritty, dark sci fi shooter"-description.
You can also add post-apocalyptic, depressing, a "little"( ) gore and dark humour if you like.
Soundtrack is !!!

Of course I've played FO3 lol. Good game, but the music is nothing like Vex'd. Also not really a shooter.
