I would like to know how the Dub sounding delay is achieved. .
What you need is VST emulation of tape delays.
Try Tape Delay & Analogic Delay from Interruptor; or go to e-phonic for Tape Delay & retro Delay VSTs.
It's all ya need mon fi real.

^ true dat. i need a dub delay, use my space echo. totally worth the $.
the controls on the front: chorus on/amount, reverb on/amount, 7 diff. delay types, speed, feedback.
basically, bandpass your delays and use something to fake tape saturation, and you're in the ballpark.

For spring reverbs use:
http://www.knufinke.de/sir/
with a spring reverb impulse response. you can find IRs by looking through the links on that site / googling.
For dub delays the best VSTs i've found are the
http://www.audiosyn.com/home/vstplugins/bbdecho80.htm
(let's you pitch a delay up or down, pretty cool)
or the already mentioned echo-mania:

Thirded for dubstation. My only "problem" with it is the default preset when you load it up is always just what you're looking for and there's no need to tweak

Been using Ohmboyz for years now - I love the sound of it - However, The new delay designer in Logic 8 is fast becoming a favorite.

Seconded on OhmBoyz
its 99 euros and well worth it
EDIT - 79 euros if you only want it on one format eg vst only
could be the best 54 quid you spend.......

A good trick that I've used a few times (although it's as old as the hills) is to set your delay to say eighth note triplets and then flick it to sixteenth note triplets or quarter note triplets at points you want to accentuate. If you have a high enough feedback, the echoes will not only change speed but the echo will also be pitched up or down an octave with the speed change
Oh and don't forget to use phaser too and muck about with the order you put that, reverb and echo. Put the echo as a send at 100% wet and the reverb at say 10-20%, and use the phaser to provide modulation to give it colour.
If you're feeling in a gnarly mood, bit of tape saturation, tube emulator or overdrive helps keep it sounding a bit more lively
