I think the interesting question is what happened to Benga? Is he still doing Dubstep? Has he followed Skream's path? I've seen a lot of people up in arms about Skream's decision to quit Dubstep and I know that it definitely doesn't mean the end of the genre. Tbh I reckon it kinda just marks a turning point in the sound whereby it's no longer the "hottest new genre that everyone's going mental over" etc. etc. and it's now just another genre which is mainly being driven by the underground.

I agree but how all this applies to Skream's remix of Inc.

No bassline aside from occasional 808s, pure digital drum machine percussion. Sounds more like an 80s track with really simple arrangement. Is that what passes as disco fors Skream or is it just the way FACT sees it

Although we and dubstep has a lot to thank Skream for, nobody can deny he has a lot to thank dubstep for. What hes doing now he'd never get booked if he wasn't the almighty Skream. If both Skream & Benga had their musical careers reset and went in their new found directions they'd be working in Tescos.

That said they've done enough for music they can do what they like, good luck to em. At least Skream stayed on the root of tolerable music lol.

Hopefully hear more stuff like Bang That.

He can do what he wants. Maybe he left dubstep as there's not many people out there today that like and still consider his 'music' to dubstep as all they listen to are knife party and Nero. Unlike them however, i do. I love his music and if he's tired or sick of doing it or just plain wants to move on, then i say let him! I not only like him for his music but i also basically respect him, and with that respect i can respect his decision...

This is ofcourse if he does swing another way..
