it's probably because it's only got about four good tracks and the rest is just kind of bland.

also outside of get lucky and lose yourself there is nothing radio friendly.

Giorgio by Moroder is well disappointing. It's really cheesy. I actually like the more radio friendly ones on it the most. Like the Pharell ones and the one with Panda Bear.

I think the concept of the album and the story behind it is great, but I agree some parts are cheesy af, but I thought that was just my inexperienced ears not used to that 70s-80s sound they're going for. I still like it though, it's mastered just perfectly, all the instruments sound crisp as fuck.
Plus, who can't enjoy the Daft Punk Vocoder?? The robots sound STELLAR on this album

I feel like the only good thing about the new album was 'Doin' it Right', but that's largely because of my feelings for Panda Bear and Animal Collective in general.

Get lucky is decent, and doesn't sound the same as all the other shit on the radio so that's an instant +1 from me. But it's not amazing like people go on either. But like somebody said before I got better stuff to be listening to.
