And another thing, none of my followers are return followers. 90% of the people I follow don't even follow me. Don't assume I beg just because I follow a lot of people.

Actually I try my best to be nice to people, but it's easy to piss me off. This wasn't the first time I had suggested turning off the limiter and I even gave him a sub bass patch because I wanted to help him, as I saw potential. I don't help people often, so it pisses me off when the help I do give out is questioned and thrown back in my face like it means nothing. If you actually knew me outside of this thread or even this entire forum (I don't post much) you'd understand that.

Alright well maybe you're a saint in real life, but within the context of this interaction you were a toolbox. Questioning things is a very helpful trait. It's what keeps everyone from following the same stupid trends and formulas. You could've easily explained your reasoning instead of ego tripping and trying to seem like a big shot producer. A "FREE MASTERCLASS" should probably contain some actual education from someone who knows what they're talking about. Not just parroted advice from some arrogant unqualified copycat who blows up when his authority is questioned.

Except for the third .png file of the convo I thought you were both being twats TBH.
EDIT: To clarify, I thought the OP was being an twat for asking for advice then nay-saying it w/o even trying it.

I have DJ in my name because "savid" is taken. I'm not a fucking copycat, I'm not arrogant, and I'm not a know-it-all. I was speaking from experience and advice given to me from other artists.

Ok man well I could care less what some fucking pricks on a forum I rarely browse think about my music. I haven't even been producing a full year. This website's dying anyway. It's thread and forums like this that make the dubstep scene look bad. Your heads are so far up your asses that you can't even understand my reasoning. I'm glad I don't know you people. This forum fucking sickens me. None of you know who I am. None of you know my real personality. You've only seen the worst of me. You guys call ME arrogant. You're a bunch of god damned hypocrites.

This is supposed to be a community where we all help each other out and get along nicely. I tried to help him and he never even tried to take my advice. This entire scene is fucked up.

Read the conversation again and ask yourself... What did I wrong? Why do these people hate on me so much?
Don't think it's hard to find (Didn't want to point out what you exactly did wrong, not in the mood for a free masterclass: how to make friends and influence people.)

I realize I came off as an arrogant know-it-all prick. I think everyone has. Again, no one here seems to realize that I originally tried to help him as much as I could and that he rejected nearly every piece of advice I gave him. If I asked you for advice and you spent time out of your day trying to explain something to me, only to have me go "No that doesn't sound right. I'm just gonna ask someone else," you'd be pretty angry I assume.

\ I agree the OP was being a bit dickish as well...went out of his way to bother someone he didn't know, then immediately nay-says his advice, which wasn't terrible advice.
And let's be honest with ourselves, 90% of the people that post in production act like fucking asshats most of the time, myself included.

I'm not saying you're a bad person, and the OP is obviously a big noob. But if you've only been producing for less than a year, what are you doing giving out "masterclasses"? Shouldn't you a bit more humble if you're still a beginner? Saying shit like "who's the teacher here?" makes you look like a huge tnuc. And the fact that all you're doing is repeating advice given to you by qualified producers does actually make you a copycat. What are you doing trying to teach when you don't know the reasoning behind what you're telling people?
If I was explaining something to someone (which I frequently do) and they didn't agree with my reasoning, I'd try to explain it further. If they still wanted to get someone else's opinion I wouldn't get butthurt and say fuck you. Ultimately I don't give a shit if people follow my advice because it's their career. Why would you get mad about someone not believing you unless you had some ego motivated reason to want to play the teacher role?
TL;DR: You're both noobs and should spend some more time learning instead of acting like bigshots.
Also note, I don't like your music but it's about where it should be for producing for a year. There's no way I'd shit on you or your tunes for that reason alone. They may not be my taste but my only problem here is with your attitude. Even if you had dope tracks I'd expect you to be a bit more humble. At the end of the day, if dude doesn't wanna take your advice then send him on his way and spend your time doing something worthwhile.

I know the reasoning behind turning off the default master bus limiter. It can seriously fuck up a mixdown. It may stop your song from clipping, but it'll also make certain noises duck when they shouldn't and it'll make your mixdown muddy. I'm really not stupid. I have my own techniques. That one just so happens to be one I learned from an artist I look up to, so I feel more confident sharing that one because I know it's a solid technique. I can't verify that everything else I do is a good technique, so I shared what I know. I over reacted and calling it a "FUCKING MASTERCLASS" admittedly was a really asshole thing to do.

And if you want to hear a half-decent song from me the one in my signature is the only reference point I have. I haven't started hating it yet. I would really appreciate true feedback.

Not my style like I said so I can't give you any criticism within that context, but I can say that in order to assess your producing ability I'd need a full track. Anyone can make a hot 16 bars but it takes skill to arrange your way through a full song.

Just tone yourself down.. Your music isn't bad at all for what it is (i.e - not my thing but can appreciate..). I am humbled when people come to me for help and try to steer them in the right direction, there is no wrong or right and things like..
"well the way I do it is............but thats just how I do it!" go a lot further than "DOTHISYOURSHITBAGORFUCKOFF"
Jus' saying.
