if I knew how to check on ableton, and it counted time when in background/asleep, it would probably be damn near 95% :P I don't think it's very good for my computer to have multiple programs running at once, but hey
No not counting time, I never have my Daw in the background and always turn my computer off.

I dunno m8 my computer's been getting steadily worse since I started producing. And I think Ableton is the culprit (didn't torrent it too!).

take everything you hear on youtube with a grain of salt, barring masterclasses from famous producers. A lot of people have pretty much no idea what they're talking about and just want to get a billion views or downloads on their trash massive presets where half of the effects they say to use aren't even turned on.
