Well I don't have fat pads thats kind of the deciding factor if fat pads will make the mpk pad sensitivity similar to the padkontrol. If so then Ill keep the mpkPaddy McMurphy wrote:Only this:Eat Bass wrote:So does anyone have any comments?
It isn't fucking rocket science mate, try them out and decide.Simulant wrote:I'd give both a fair trial and decide which one suits you best.

Re: Need opinions
Reasons would be: to me the two units individually are better at the job that the mpk is trying to pack in
one. The 49 has quite a large footprint, it's easier to find place for the two units.
The mpk pads are notoriously bad at translating velocity, I don't care about that kind of stuff, but a lot of
people do.

I'm kind of digging the mpk more though. Anyone have experience with the fat pads? How are they? If they make a huge diff ill just keep the mpk. Though the keys feel a bit springy, I def like the feel of the notations better. Also the 25 key feels a bit limiting but I'm not really a player anyway.AxeD wrote:Reasons would be: to me the two units individually are better at the job that the mpk is trying to pack in
