Hello Humans,

WHAT A WEEK!

For those of you that do not know, this all started on my radio show, Drive with Julie on Rinse FM in London. Each week I get set a challenge by my lovely producer Sam Skitt, this week I had to become an activist and fight for a cause I believe in.

After reaching well over TEN times the amount of signatures initially required to pass my challenge, I think the LEAST I can do is send a 'Thank You' to every single one of you for taking the time to sign the petition and write your awesome messages.

The last three days have been insane! What started off as a small idea grew in to something recognised by The Guardian, NME, Fact Mag, Vice, Time Out, all of you lovely people & even the Mayor of Tower Hamlets.

Just as we wrapped up the radio show for the week the Mayor of Tower Hamlets sent us this official statement :

"I am always happy to see home grown creative talent like Wiley receive recognition. It is important for young people to pursue creativity and we have strong arts and music education in the borough and apprenticeship schemes within the creative industries to help with this." - Lutfur Rahman

So where do we go from here? This is now your cause. I'm setting you all a challenge. To keep this dream alive. Please tell your friends and families, share the link on social networks and think about the next steps needed to make this a reality!
