All the promoters I know personally are just dreamers with desires of notoriety bigger the acts they are booking. Only ever met a few proper dick ones, but most are just slimes.

Yeah Hobson's taking the piss. He came down for that night. I played there too.

Nick's a mate of mine. I've been all the way to Croatia and back with him in a van. haha

Also Subheavy is run by one of the most down to earth nice dudes who's solely into the scene for the music itself. Dude basically bothered me into playing for the night out of the fact he knew I was into the music so much and has always had the attitude towards any of the residents playing at the night who are really in it for the music and not to be cool or anything that really they're involved in the night more than just a "get people in through the doors and buying drinks" kind of thing.

The getme, jam the channel and Big Like House guys are all people who just want to put on good nights too.

you hear bad stories but theres plenty of good ones out there, they get such a bad rep
lets not forget we need this lot to put on some nights

I've heard some horror stories though
