The lid on that one doesn't have a release button though, you have to actually pull it off, too much work for me

I just meant putting the cold water in can be a bit of a pain. They had one in the last house I was working in and I found it bothersome. #FirstWorldProblems

They're both cordless. What is it you're asking? How electricity is used to heat water?

I bought the equivalent model to this about 5 years ago and it's still going strong!

My mate has one that has two chambers and you let in only as much as you want into the boiling area. It then has buttons on the front that let you select different temperatures and it beeps when it's done so you know.

Recently bought this for £170

Only 2 slice but i find the removable crumb tray very advantageous for cleaning.
Would recommend due to the bagel and crumpet toasting settings.
Only disadvantage is a slightly weaker filament in the middle which means my toast is often more toasted on one particular side.

Damn, that really raises the stakes. £170 for a 2 slice toaster!

Ballin' out of control over there!

I used to have a kettle that had a stealth boil mode, it was meant to boil quickly and quietly but in reality it was really fucking loud.

In hindsight it was quite a rash purchase the 4 slice is only a tenner more and looks hard.

You could but the quicker toasting time b2b quicker cleaning time will save you hours of time

not to mention the added satisfaction of a perfectly toasted bagel/crumpet
