Got a multiple choice test in the summer in my final year. The same unit gives out 10% for 'joining in class discussions' for the first 10 weeks, basically 1% each time you turn up.
Love doing final year at a uni thats just spent like £80m on a new business school, they're basically handing us good grades so they can justify the £80m improvements.

the real question is why would you take russian?
next time you know. don't sign up for difficult classes if you can avoid it. this includes basically all language/math/science/engineering classes. take sociology 100.
i'm still learning this lessson.

Why didn't you pick Arabic? Was the memory of 9/11 too raw in your mind..

There are no stupid questions, just stupid people who ask them

You should learn to do the things that most people don't know how to do. Everything that you listed are some real skills.

yes but i would rather get good grades and have more free time to spend on music and socializing than spend all my time for a semester doing electrical engineering when I'm a history major and ending up with a D on my GPA even though I worked hard.

The degree I just finished in September was really hard, and I worked hard for it but I'm glad I did. I ended up with all A's and a 4.0.
Not that means shit, it's the skills that you bring that matter.
I'm about to start working on another degree on January 1st. In that program, anything less than a B is failing.

Good job.
That doesn't mean everyone should take difficult, highly technical courses that are outside their major if they can avoid it.
Best of luck January 1st.
