amusing, but i'd have to agree with that.Contakt wrote:Dubstep sounds like techno, garage, grime, drum n bass and dub having a fight in a skip.
my mate said (upon hearing 'earth a run red' in a mix) ''oh nooo its that tune thats in every fucking dubstep mix you play''
''its just slowed down dnb''
''this tune is shit'' (my mate listening to 'haunted')
''all dubstep sounds the same'' according to my brother (who only listens to drum and bass, talk about hypocrisy
In terms of unintentionally amusing comments, anything along the lines of ''Dubstep is the strangled soul of british underground music echoing against the underpasses of our shattered cityscapes in a blasting pit of reverb and tattered utopias'' usually has me chuckling so heartily that I spill port and cigar ash all over my red velvet gown.

That's from the Sun - there was a picture of some bird in an underpass sitting in piss with her tits out shooting up skag in the eye so that the readers could get the gist without reaching for the dictionary.Contakt wrote:Was that from the Guardian?Corpsey wrote:In terms of unintentionally amusing comments, anything along the lines of ''Dubstep is the strangled soul of british underground music echoing against the underpasses of our shattered cityscapes in a blasting pit of reverb and tattered utopias'' usually has me chuckling so heartily that I spill port and cigar ash all over my red velvet gown.
